HONLITRONIC ,China’s leading enterprise in white light LED packaging component, released the announcement for its business performance in 2012, in which, HONGLITRONIC estimates the net profit for 2012 is RMB 43,820,800-58,427,700, a decrease of 20%-40% compared with previous year’s RMB 73,034,600 in the same period, basic EPS (earnings per share) is RMB 0.18-0.24, a decrease of 28%-46% compared with previous year’s RMB 0.33 in the same period.
The firm claims that the development of LED industry in 2012 is undesirable due to global financial crisis, though governments have launched a package of policies on semi-conductor lighting popularity, it takes time in implementation. Time still needed in market exploitation despite the firm’s domestic marketing network is taking shape. In addition, operation cost goes up as the corporation moved to a new industrial park, alongside the substantial increase of investment in R&D. All those factors have contributed to the subsequent drop of net profit in 2012.
