Yeou Yih Steel, one of the major stainless steel heavy plate manufacturers in Taiwan, said the company's fourth-quarter order received situation has stayed firmly and the rising price will help the company to remain profitable in the fourth quarter of this year.
In the January-September period, Yeou Yih Steel's gross profit rate rebounded to 5.08%, much better than 0.82% in the same period of 2012.
Therefore, since the current LME nickel price has gone back to US$14,000/ton level, Yeou Yih Steel should be able to win for more profit from its in stock inventories.
